Overview

The Associate Vacation Rental Account Manager is responsible for managing, renewing, and expanding relationships with existing customers within the vacation rental market vertical. This role focuses on maximizing customer satisfaction, securing timely software renewals, identifying expansion opportunities, and driving incremental revenue within an established book of business. Success in this position requires deep vacation rental and Hospitality domain knowledge, strong relationship‑building skills, and a thorough understanding of RemoteLock’s software solutions and their value to VR management companies and owners.


Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management & Renewals
  • Own and manage a portfolio of existing vacation rental customers, ensuring high satisfaction and continued engagement with RemoteLock solutions.
  • Lead the software renewal process end‑to‑end, including forecasting renewal timelines, preparing quotes, addressing customer questions, and executing renewal agreements.
  • Maintain accurate renewal and account data in Salesforce, ensuring reports, forecasts, and dashboards are updated regularly.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to ensure customers are fully leveraging RemoteLock capabilities and achieving desired outcomes.
Account Growth & Expansion
  • Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities—including product add‑ons, and feature bundles—within existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive incremental revenue from active customers.
  • Build strong relationships with decision‑makers, operations leaders, and influencers to understand their evolving needs and position RemoteLock solutions accordingly.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with Customer Support and Professional Services teams to ensure smooth onboarding, issue resolution, and ongoing success.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine customer growth strategies, provide insight into customer trends, and contribute to goal‑setting for the VR market vertical.
  • Present product updates, best practices, and ROI‑focused recommendations during customer meetings and QBRs.
Market Expertise & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the vacation rental market, competitive landscape, and common operational challenges.
  • Stay informed on product enhancements and integrations to better support customer outcomes.
  • Attend industry trade shows, webinars, and networking events to strengthen industry relationships and stay current on market shifts.
Cross Functional and Evolving Duties
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and special projects as needed to drive team and organizational goals.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned in response to evolving business priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of account management experience, preferably within the vacation rental market and/or SaaS environment.
  • Proven success managing a recurring‑revenue customer lifecycle, including renewals and expansion.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lead customer conversations with confidence, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
  • Experience navigating complex organizational structures and engaging executive‑level stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce), MS Office and other business applications.


Salary– $50K / $100k OTE with uncapped potential
