Account Executive (Multifamily Focus)
Overview
We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Account Executive with deep experience in the multifamily industry to lead the growth of our channel partner network and expand market share through high-impact SaaS and access control solutions. This role is critical to our continued success in the multifamily space, requiring someone who understands the unique needs of this vertical and how to empower channel partners to effectively sell into it. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in multifamily sales, a passion for technology, and a proven ability to scale partnerships that drive measurable revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, build, and maintain strong, long-term sales relationships with new and existing channel partners serving the multifamily market.
- Manage the growth and monetization of the multifamily channel partner network to increase market penetration and recurring revenue.
- Prospect, recruit, and cultivate new high-potential channel partners with proven reach in the multifamily space.
- Lead and execute channel partner development including: training, enablement, and sales campaigns tailored for the multifamily housing sector to promote adoption and independent selling of our solutions.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans focused on maximizing revenue opportunities in multifamily housing communities.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline tracking, and opportunity management using Salesforce.
- Align closely with internal Sales and Sales Leadership to drive a unified strategy and revenue goal focused on channel partner growth and multifamily market.
- Effectively manage the full sales cycle and consistently deliver on quarterly and annual sales targets specific to channel and multifamily sales goals.
- Report performance data and multifamily market trends to internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Executive teams.
- Deliver compelling product presentations that highlight the value and ROI of our solutions for channel partners as well as multifamily property owners, managers, and residents.
- Engage with C-level executives and key decision-makers within the multifamily ecosystem to build strategic partnerships and close high-value deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including pre-sales, support, and product to tailor solutions that meet multifamily-specific needs.
- Identify feedback from the multifamily market to guide improvements to our products, go-to-market strategy, and partner programs.
- Represent the company at multifamily-focused trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Stay current with industry trends, technology shifts, and market demands within the multifamily housing landscape.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in multifamily sales or working directly with multifamily channel partners, property management companies, or integrators.
- 7+ years of technology or channel sales experience, preferably in SaaS, access control, smart home, or building automation industries.
- Demonstrated success managing a pipeline and closing SaaS contracts over $1M in total value, with at least $200K in SaaS components.
- Deep understanding of the multifamily buyer journey, sales cycles, and key pain points.
- Proven ability to develop and scale channel sales programs specifically for the multifamily market.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce, including pipeline management, forecasting, and sales reporting.
- Experience working cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of turning strategy into action and delivering measurable results.
- Familiarity with multifamily technology trends, such as smart access, resident engagement platforms, and property management system integrations.
Salary Base $100k, variable $100k, On Target Earnings – $200k
